Media Fellow

Nina is a Media Fellow at West Wind, where she supports West Wind’s online presence and video editing. In addition to helping launch West Wind’s Educational Equity Resources Portal, Nina is currently helping develop programming of a paper she co-authored with West Wind’s president and Lee Teitel of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, entitled Students as Agents of Improvement in Increasing Equity in Schools. This paper was presented at the 2019 American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting and is available in the AERA paper repository.

Originally from Iowa City, Nina now attends Harvard College, where she studies history, literature, and education. At school, Nina is a mentor at the Harvard Education Portal where she facilitates curriculum for K-12 youth. She also is a leader for the First-Year Outdoor Program, where she leads incoming first-year students on backcountry backpacking trips. Nina is also passionate about food and aims to educate students on food systems through her role as a Food Literacy Project Fellow.
