Policy Analysis

West Wind Education Policy Inc. analyzes federal, state, and local education policies to determine the likelihood they will meet policymaker goals, support learning and teaching for all children, and promote positive organizational change. West Wind looks at the success of past and present policy initiatives, forecasts future trends, and assists in the development of new education policies and reforms.

West Wind conducts focus groups to help policymakers identify areas of need, assess readiness for change, and engage the public in education improvement efforts. We present findings in detailed reports and policy briefings, which we author, publish, and disseminate. We are available to present findings in person and can coach clients on presenting findings.
